We thought we would share these tips to help maintain your home:

• Clean and/or replace furnace filter
• Check and clean the HRV (heat recovery ventilator) and clean or replace filter
• Clean humidifier (if applicable) and check for condensation and maintain proper humidity levels
• Inspect basement for leaks
• Check roof for loose, cracked or missing shingles
• Turn on exterior water supply
• Test smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
• Check eaves-trough and downspouts to ensure they are free from debris
• Check windows and screens are operating properly
• Check exterior caulking for air and water leaks
• Check walkways for any uneven patio stones and re-level if necessary
• Inspect exterior finishes
